Here's hoping the weekend will be better than this week. J is off at the GA/FL game. (For you non-SECC football fans out there that is the South's answer to a Yankees/Red Sox rivalry.) Go Dawgs, please..I don't want a grumpy husband. He left at 8 this morning to go tailgate. I just hope he makes it home in one piece.
Watched Dawn of the Dead lastnight before bed..not the smartest thing to do. That was some creepy shit.
revisionary mentioned the new gallery show Crying Men the other day and I had to research.
"Hollywood hunks including Jude Law, Robert Downey, Jr. and Laurence Fishburne amazed artist Sam Taylor-Wood with their heart-felt sobs for her bizarre new exhibition, Crying Men. The photographer asked the actors to produce real tears for a series of images which she hopes capture the vulnerable sides of the movie stars. She is particularly proud of pictures of the Cold Mountain hunk weeping in a fetal position and a portrait of Reservoir Dogs star Michael Madsen betraying his hard-man image by crying hysterically. Taylor-Wood explains, "Some of the men cried before I even finished loading the camera, but others found it really difficult. People can decide for themselves which they think are the authentic tears and which they think are fake. It's about the idea of taking these big, masculine men and showing a different side." The exhibition opens tomorrow at London's White Cube gallery." -imdb

I think it's a brilliant concept. I love me some vulnerable men. More than half of them look sincere..but they are actors so who knows. The Robert Downey Jr. one is incredible. And I'm just going to go on believing Ryan is a tortured, sad soul who nees saving. thankyouverymuch.

Thank you for posting these.
Welcome dolly.
Ryan.
I don't even find Hayden attractive, and I'm strangley drawn to his picture.
They're all so beautiful.
And don't let me get started on Ryan. I will compose an epic novel in honor of that man.
Goooo Dawgs!!!!
FINALLY! I haven't heard from J yet, I hope they don't indulge too much! It's about damn time, huh?!
(And LOVE the icon hon!)
*crawls into picture and licks him*
*gawks*
Looking at these guys crying almost made ME cry. And how is it that the Robin Williams one breaks my heart more than almost all of the others? What a brilliant concept, and what brilliant results. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!
I think I'm going to have to go follow your link to Amazon now ... ;)
I admire every one of these men even more for doing the photos.
Thanks again.
You know, you haven't been the only one to say that about Hayden..maybe there's more to him than previously thought?
Thanks..I like yours as well. ;) Two more days..
